Recently, Wallpaper* Magazine visited VernissageTV in its new studio in Grenzach-Wyhlen near Basel, to have a look at Triath. The result is an article in the current print edition titled “Design Directory“, featuring The year’s best design, Fab prefab / Risom redux / Architects Directory / Maginot Line makeover / The W* House – and Triath!

The article (on page 150) is titled “Higher Ground: Austrian architects GernerGernerPlus go one step beyond with an unlikely addition to a 1930s German house”. It’s written by Sophie Lovell, the photography is by Michel Bonvin. Higher Ground provides you with an overview of the building’s architectural concept, tells you how it came all about, and gives you an insight into the design philosophy of GernerGernerPlus.

VernissageTV’s Studio Triath Nominated for the 2nd “Award for Marketing + Architecture”

Triath, the new studio of art tv channel VernissageTV, designed by the architects gerner°gerner plus is among the nominees for the 2nd “Award for Marketing and Architecture”.

On April 23, 2010, at the KKL Luzern, Switzerland, the “Award for Marketing + Architecture” will be awarded for the second time. The Prize awards buildings that both ideally represent a brand and create identity. It recognizes to the same extend the achievement of the building owners, the marketing / branding specialists and the architects.

VernissageTV invites to 3 day non-stop screening

vtvturns1000On Monday, the 19th January, VernissageTV published its 1000th video, a coverage of the opening of The World of Madelon Vriesendorp at the Swiss Architecture Museum. To celebrate this anniversary, VernissageTV invites to a special screening online and at its new studio Triath in Grenzach-Wyhlen near Basel.

The screening will show all videos that have been published, starting with the very first one, Zaha Hadid Architecture at the Swiss Architecture Museum. With an average duration of each episode of 5 minutes, the screening will run 3 days. The show will start on Friday, February 6, 2009 at 10 am (CET/MEZ) and run until Monday, February 9, 2009.

The screening will take place at VernissageTV’s new studio Triath and online on VernissageTV’s website At the studio there will be a reception for invited guests on Saturday, February 7, 2009, 8pm.

VernissageTV: Count down to 1000 posts

By the end of January 2009, VernissageTV will publish its 1000th video. To celebrate this anniversary, VernissageTV invites to a special screening online and at Triath. More information coming soon.
